A detail that trips up Bangladesh buyers: on the Standard plan you cannot self-host or install custom modules. If your plan includes a Mushak 6.3 report module, a bKash integration or Bangla payroll rules, you need Custom or Community. Also, every internal user who logs in counts as a user, including a warehouse clerk who scans barcodes. Portal users (customers and suppliers who only see their own documents) are free.

Add import VAT or card conversion charges if you pay by card from Bangladesh. If a local partner invoices you in BDT, ask whether the quoted price includes 15 percent VAT, because many first-time buyers only discover the VAT line on the invoice.
Community edition: free licence, not free ownership
Community is a complete ERP for sales, purchase, inventory, invoicing, CRM, manufacturing, project and HR basics. What it does not include in Odoo 17 to 19 is the full Accounting app (general ledger reports, bank reconciliation widget, assets), Studio, Quality, Field Service, the Odoo mobile app, and official support.
The Bangladesh community fills most gaps with OCA modules, which are free. The cost shifts from licence to people: someone has to install, test and upgrade those modules every year. Implementation: the largest number
Licence fees are usually a minority of the first-year spend. Implementation is where the money goes, and it depends on scope rather than on Odoo itself. Community-observed ranges for Bangladesh, which are not quotes:
